ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.8 of 2013 before the lower Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.8 of 2013 has been registered for the alleged offences under Sections 120(B), 419, 468,471, 420 and 506(i) IPC against the accused, but the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the case and to file a final report and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered and investigation is going on and that he would further submit that he wants four months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report.

4. Considering the rival submissions made on either side, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2013 and to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Court within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
