This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and cancel the patta issued in the name of the 5th respondent with respect to the subject property.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader produced the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai District dated 30.09.2022. On going through the same, it is seen that the patta granted in favour of the 5th respondent has been cancelled and consequential orders have been passed. In the light of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. 11.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No
