Considering the nature of averments made, the Superintendent of police Ramanathapuram and the inspector of Police, Vali Nokkam Police Station, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, are Suo Motu impleaded as the respondents 5 and 6 on so government advocate criminal side takes notice. 2.It is seen that by an order dated 16.02.2026, this Court appointed Mr.N.Mohideen Bhasha Advocate and Ms.G.Umamaheshwari, as the Advocate Commissioners to conduct the Election in respect of the Jamath in question and on or before 30.04.2026. It is submitted on behalf the Advocate Commissioners that when they went to the spot, some of the members of the Jamath behaved in an unruly fashion and that they require police protection to conduct the processes. When the Officers of the Court are conducting the elections, it is made clear that strict action, including action for contempt of Court will be taken against anybody who misbehaves against the Advocate Commissioners or interferes with the process of election. The 5th and 6th respondents shall also ensure adequate 1/3

protection to the Commissioners for due conduct of the process, since now general elections are announced and the polling date is fixed on 23.04.2026, let the Commissioners proceed with the further action after the polling date that is, from 25.04.2026 onwards. The memo shall be filed by the Advocate Commissioners before the 5th and 6th respondents intimating their dates and the processes and upon filing such memo, the 5th and 6th respondents shall afford due protection for the smooth conduct of the process. The last date mentioned in the order dated 16.02.2026 is extended as 30.05.2026. 3.Call the matter on 02.06.2026 "for reporting compliance." 07.04.2026 Ns 2/3
