O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Second Additional Sessions Court (PCR Cases), Tirunelveli to dispose of the case in S.C.No.62/2010 at early.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been convicted and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment in another case. He further submitted that because of this case, the petitioner is not able to get the benefit of remission in the earlier case and hence, he requests to direct the Second Additional Sessions Court (PCR Cases), Tirunelveli to dispose of the case in S.C.No.62/2010.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that in S.C.No.62/2010, totally 70 accused involved. In that case, 69 witnesses were examined and now, the evidence on the prosecution side closed and posted for questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hence, he requests to fix some reasonable time for disposing of the aforesaid case.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Second Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Cases), Tirunelveli is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.62/2010 within 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
