Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No. Not Known of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, due to "Boycott of Court" pursuant to boycott called by Bar Council of India protesting the murder of an Advocate by police. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State. The respondent police is present.

3. On the complaint given by the defacto complainant, no regular case was registered and only petition enquiry in C.S.R.NO.187 of 2014 was conducted by the police. This Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners on 27.08.2014 with a direction to the petitioners and the defacto complainant to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench. The Mediation and Conciliation centre has sent a report dated 11.03.2015, enclosing a copy of the settlement agreement arrived at between the parties before them. The terms of the settlement are as follows.

" 3rd Petitioner present(Husband). Defacto complainant https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Wife) present. Mediation success. Petitioner hand over the jewels and things to the Defacto complainant wife. The petitioner and wife are jointly filed in H.M.O.P.NO.4 of 2015 at PSJ Court, Pudukkottai. Petition copy and Agreement copy enclosed."

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent police have also closed the case in C.S.R.NO.187 of 2014. Hence, the same is recorded and this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
