The instant writ petition has been filed by the retired cashier of the second respondent cooperative society, seeking a mandamus to disburse his arrears of salary as well as terminal benefits, in view of the fact that the petitioner has attained superannuation on 28.02.2015.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the second respondent society is under liquidation and the official liquidator is in charge of the entire Society. The petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent on 07.12.2024, marking copy to the second respondent. However, so far, the monetary benefits have not been released to the writ petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
