ORDER
The petitioner is figuring as accused in C.C.Nos.278, 285, 279, 280, 281, 277, 276, 282, 345 and 283 of 2017. The cases are pending for more than six years. The FIRs are of the year 2011 and 2012 respectively. An accused is entitled to speedy disposal. The learned counsel for the petitioner informs the Court that even though a direction has been given for speedy disposal, it has not been honoured for various reasons.
2. The learned trial Magistrate is directed to conclude the cases within four months after the physical hearings resume. The learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, shall ensure that this order is complied within letter and spirit. These Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of, accordingly.
