ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent and not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the second respondent is wife of the petitioner, she left his family and hence, the petitioner has filed a divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No.45 of 2014 on the file of the Sub Court, Paramakudi and the same was allowed on 27.11.2014. Subsequently, due to the intervention of the friends and relatives a settlement was arrived on 23.02.2015 and in pursuance of the said settlement, the petitioner has handed over the remaining gold jewels and a sum of Rs.2,23,000/- as future maintenance and the second respondent has also acknowledging the same and executed a release deed in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, she filed a false complaint against the petitioner and based on that the first respondent is harassing the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after receipt of the complaint from the second respondent, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed and hence, the question of harassing the petitioner does not arise.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
