ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family members by considering the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.12.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already filed a civil suit in O.S.No.1090 of 2013 against one Rajamanickam and two others and obtained the decree on 28.06.2019 on the file of the I Additional District Munsif, Trichirapalli and that after the death of the said Rajamanickam, the third respondent 2/4
being the wife and the respondents 4 and 5 being the sons of the said Rajamanickam had been threatening the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation is pending before the second respondent.
5. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2022, taking note of the decree obtained by the petitioner from the competent civil Court and decide the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
