O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.A1/5807/2020 dated 07.01.2021 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue legal heir certificate for the death of their deceased brother Ganesan by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2020 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

It is seen from the records that the respondent has issued a memorandum dated 07.01.2021 directing the writ petitioner to get an order from the concerned Court that himself and others are the class 2 heirs of the deceased Ganesan and then to apply through online for getting legal heir certificate.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that if a fresh application is sent through online by the writ petitioner with regard to legal heir certificate, the said application will be considered by the respondent.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petitioner is at liberty to apply through online for getting legal heir certificate and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
