When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) reports that the respondent Police have completed the investigation in this case in the year 2019 itself as per the CD File, however, there is no record as to why it was not submitted before the concerned Court. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) requested short time for filing it before the concerned Court.

3. Considering the submissions made by learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to file the charge sheet as expeditiously as possible not later 2/4

than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
