O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, Sivagangai District to take cognizance on the petitioner's private complaint, which has been numbered as M.P.No.7039/16, dated 18.11.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on 29.04.2016 at about 6.20 p.m, when the petitioner and his family members gone to Thirupacheti Police Station for abiding the condition imposed on them in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.61/2016 (Anticipatory Bail application), the respondent herein abused the petitioner and his family members and also assaulted the petitioner and also criminally intimidated them and hence, the petitioner has filed a private complaint before the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai on 18.11.2017 and the same was numbered as M.P.No.7039 of 2016. He further submitted that the petitioner and his side witnesses gave https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sworn statements three months ago, but, the Judicial Magistrate has not taken cognizance and hence, he requests to direct the concerned Judicial Magistrate to dispose of .M.P.No.7039 of 2016 at early. 4.Considering the fact that M.P.No.7039 of 2016 is pending for the past two years, the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, Sivagangai District is directed to dispose of M.P.No.7039/16 within a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the aforesaid direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
