By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is one of the members of the God believers Association situated at Manappari Taluk, Rayampatty Village and that the Aadal Paadal is scheduled to be held on 13.02.2021. His further submission is that he submitted a representation dated 22.01.2021 to the respondent police seeking permission to conduct the said programme and so far, no permission has been accorded by the respondent police.

3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) who accepts notice for the respondents on instructions would submit that the respondent police did not receive any representation from the petitioner.

4. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent and on receipt of such representation, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as early as possible. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
