Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.THALAIMUTHARASU.G, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to produce sureties. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.1309 of 2022 petitioner is unable to execute sureties with in the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.13261 of 2021 dated 09.09.2021.

3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court vide order dated 09.09.2021 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.13261 of 2021 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
