Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to conduct the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.626 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police before the court concerned within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant. He wants final report to be filed in Crime No.626 of 2020 registered on the file of the second respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that final report has been made ready for closing the case as 'Mistake of Fact'.

4. The second respondent is directed to serve the copy of the final report on the petitioner within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also parallely file the same before the jurisdictional Court. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1430 of 2022 directed to issue RCS notice to the petitioner forthwith and without any delay, so that, the petitioner will have the right to file a protest petition. The protest petition to be filed by the petitioner will be disposed of within a period of eight weeks after such filing.
