Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to give Police protection to petitioner's family for life limb and to take action based on complaint 17.09.2025 within the period stipulated by this Court.
ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the the respondent to give Police protection to petitioner's 1/4
family for life limb and to take action based on complaint 17.09.2025 within the period stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner is seeking police protection against the alleged accused. The same cannot be granted indefinitely. Therefore, the said limb of the prayer is declined. However, the respondent police are directed to take the petitioner's complaint on record and process the same. If any cognizable offence is made out, the same may be considered in accordance with law.
3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
