The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2020 and to file a final report.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would contend that investigation in Crime No.2 of 2020 is underway and prayed for three months time to file a final report.
