PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.04.2019 and pass order on the application for quarrying rough stones in his own patta land comprised in S.No. 101/1, 102/3, 103/1 and 103/3 measuring to an extent of 1.98.5 Hectares of Thalaiyuthu Village, Mannar Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission for quarrying rough stones in the petitioner's patta land for his own usage.

2.Today(22.09.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also circulated a letter dated 20.09.2023 to that effect. 3.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
