O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to the 3rd respondent to register a case against the proposed accused persons, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 21.02.2018.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on 03.08.1972 the petitioner's wife had purchased some properties from the father of the proposed accused Vijayakumar. After the death of his father, the said Vijayakumar, with an intention to grab the land from the petitioner's wife which was purchased by her from his father, had lodged a complaint against this petitioner and his wife under section 420 IPC, in Crime No.766 of 2016. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint against Vijayakumar. So far, no case has been registered. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that enquiry is still pending.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the third respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has to register a case and proceed with the same in accordance with law.

6.With the aforesaid observation, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
