Respondents/ Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.217 of 2021, dated 28.06.2021 on the file of the Chatrapatti Police Station, Dindigul District within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the defacto complainant for directing the second respondent to file the final report.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that final report was filed as early as on 13.07.2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchatram. However, it is yet to be taken on file.

4. Since in such cases, Courts take a stand that the final report has not been filed, the second respondent is directed to make verification in this regard. If the final report is not available, a fresh copy of the final report shall be filed and the jurisdictional Magistrate shall take a call in the matter on merits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
