Respondent/Respondent/Complainant PRAYER :- To modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.208 of 2023 dated 12.01.2023 passed by the Learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram in so far as the condition that directing the petitioners shall jointly deposit a sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousands Only) before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram and the petitioners shall appear and sign before Manamadurai Police Station daily twice at 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM until further orders (in respect of Condition No.ii and iii) For Petitioners : M/s.D.Bala Kumar, Advocate For Respondent : Mr.M.Veeranthiran Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.MP.No.208/2023, dated 12.01.2023, by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the entire family members of the petitioners have been falsely roped into the case. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge while granting anticipatory bail had directed the petitioners to jointly deposit an amount of Rs.75,000/- to the credit of Crime Number. Further, he would submit that the alleged damages will not be more than Rs.25,000/-. The petitioners are ready to deposit Rs.25,000/- to the credit of Crime Number. Further, he would also prays to modify the condition that the petitioners have to appear before Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai Police Station daily twice. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioners have caused damages for more than Rs.75,000/- and still now, tension prevails in the said village and there is a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.2157 of 2023 possibility for another problem. Hence, prays to dismiss the petition.

4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners ensure that no such problem will not happen again.

5.In view of the above, the conditions imposed in Crl.MP.No.208/2023, dated 12.01.2023 by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram, is hereby modified to the effect that:

● that the petitioners shall jointly deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of Crime No.5 of 2023, on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram;

● that the petitioners shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., and 05.30 p.m., for a period of two weeks, thereafter, every Saturday at 10.30a.m., until further orders.
