ORDER : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.JAGADEES BALAN.K, Advocate for the petitioner in all Vacate Stay Mps and Advocate for the Respondents in all Stay Mps and of M/S.P.ANBARASU, Advocate on behalf of the Respondents in all Vacate Stay Mps and Advocate for the Petitioner in all Stay Mps, the court made the following order:- The writ petitions are filed challenging the punishment imposed by the respondent-Corporation for the alleged lapses committed by the writ petitioners/workmen.

2. This Court, while admitting the writ petitions, granted interim stay for implementation of punishment. If the interim orders are granted, nothing survives in the main writ petitions. If the prayer in the main writ petitions and interim stay petitions are one and the same, this Court has to reject the interim prayer. So, accordingly, applying the same, the interim orders already granted by this Court is vacated, however, this order will not stand in the way of the writ petitioners in canvassing all those issues at the time of final hearing.

3. In the result, the vacate stay petitions in W.M.P(MD) Nos.1885, 1895, 1897, 1959, 2052 of 2023 are allowed and the interim stay petitions in W.M.P(MD) Nos.17184, 17214, 17212, 17168, 17213 of 2022 are dismissed. However, the punishment imposed by the respondent-Corporation is subject to the result of the writ petitions.
