ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.357 of 2021 on the file of the Mahila Court, Tirunelveli District. The parties have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 31.01.2022. The victim appeared before this Court on the last occasion and I wanted to be sure that all the terms of compromise have been strictly complied with. There were some issues and therefore the matter was adjourned. Today, the victim appeared before this Court through video Conferencing and clarified that he has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. The case of this nature is not compoundable, but the victim is so clear that she would not support the prosecution. No purpose will be served in proceeding with the matter. It will be only a waste of judicial time. The impugned proceedings are quashed. Victim is also duly identified by K.Amutha, Gr I PC 1026, attached to All Women Police Station, Sankarankovil.
