O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 05.01.2018.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, both parties have not appeared for enquiry and therefore, the complaint was closed.

3. In reply to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to grant one more opportunity to appear for enquiry.

4.In view of the above submission, this Court directs the respondent to serve summons to the petitioner to appear for enquiry within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to appear for enquiry and place all the materials before the respondent police, thereafter, the respondent police shall enquire the same, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police shall register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
