PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondent herein/competent authority to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026 and the incumbent Secretary representation dated 14.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders regarding acceptance of Form VII for the period 27.03.2026 to 26.03.2029 in respect of the Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai Society (Registration No.129/1997) within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders regarding acceptance of Form-VII for the period between 27.03.2026 and 26.03.2029 in respect of the petitioner's Society.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has received written instructions to the effect that as on today, enquiry is going on and orders would be passed expeditiously.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner's Society and pass orders within a period of 4(four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
