ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "directing the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on daily wages equivalent to basic pay at the minimum pay scale applicable to the post of Sweeper/Scavenger with Dearness Allowance thereupon applicable from time to time, in view of G.O.(Ms).No. 137/Po/Pa(C2) dated 06.12.2019, by considering petitioner representation dated 18.12.2021, within the period stipulated by this Court."
2.Heard Mr.Mahendra Prabhu, learned counsel assisted by Mr.A.Haja Mohideen learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the sixth respondent, vide order dated 21.11.2022, had decided the representation of the petitioner dated 18.12.2021. A copy of the order dated 21.11.2022 was handed over to the 3/7
learned counsel for the petitioner in front of the Court today. Thus, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the relief sought in the writ petition has now become infructuous and no relief can be granted in the present writ petition, as an order dated 21.11.2022 had already been passed by the sixth respondent. It was further submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 21.11.2022, he can challenge the same before the competent Court of law.
4.Mr. Mahendra Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition at this stage with liberty to challenge the order dated 21.11.2022 before the competent Court of law.
5.Accordingly, in view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the sixth respondent dated 21.11.2022 before the competent Court of law. 4/7
