ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
3.This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent No. 1 to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 27.12.2024 filed by the petitioner under G.O.Ms.No.478 Revenue and Disaster management (RA-3(2) Department dated 29.09.2022 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Mahaboob Fazil, submitted that already a legal heir certificate has been issued without including the name of the petitioner and in 2/5
this regard a revision application has been preferred by the petitioner and that is yet to be considered.
5.The learned Government advocate Mr. T.Amjad Khan submitted that the said application has been received only yesterday by the DRO, and hence the same will be dealt with in accordance with law.
6.Recording the same, this Court hereby direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 27.12.2024 preferred by the petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to the costs.
