ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Special Judge for SC/ST(PoA) Act Cases, Theni, to accept the surrender and consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the same day on merits in Cr.No.27 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant has purchased the TV Antenna from the petitioner shop on 14.07.2025. Thereafter the same was not properly working. The defacto complainant has approached the petitioner on 08.10.2025 in this regard. At the time the petitioner has threatened the defacto complainant and abusing caste name. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Special Judge for SC/ST(PoA) Act Cases, Theni, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.27 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
