Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.1462 of 2022 2.The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the respondent police. To forbear them from doing so, this criminal original petition has been filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that Crime No.1 of 2022 has been registered against the petitioner on the file of the second respondent for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 406 of IPC. It is also stated that the petitioner has already filed a petition for anticipatory bail.

4.In these circumstances, the question of entertaining this criminal original petition does not arise and it stands dismissed.
