This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to file a final report in Crime No.28 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent police.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the case has been closed as ''mistake of fact'' and referred charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.3, Nagercoil, on 31.01.2016 itself and the same is not yet numbered.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
