ORDER

The petitioner has made an application before the first respondent / Tahsildar to record him as a cultivating tenant in respect of the lands in S.Nos.526/1A2B, 532/3A1, 532/3A2, 532/3B1, 532/3B2, to an extent of 20.40.50 hectares and has filed this writ petition for a mandamus to dispose of the application within a stipulated time limit. 2.When the writ petition came up for hearing in the last occasion, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.Learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent / Tahsildar is conducting an enquiry and that appropriate 2/4

orders would be passed on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve weeks from today.

4.Recording the said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
