The petitioner with certain grievance has approached the respondent by way of a representation dated 18.11.2023 and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to allow the petitioner to perform Fire Walking Pooja (Pookuli) on the day of Sivarathri on 09.03.2024 at Ari Arulmighu Sri Koothadi Muthu Periya Nayakiamman Koil, Thalaiyoor Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai.

2.Today(31.01.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner was already considered by the hereditary trustee/the fourth respondent herein on 05.12.2023 and the same was intimated to the petitioner by a communication dated, 05.12.2023.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file necessary application before the Joint Commissioner, if he is still aggrieved and work out his remedy. No costs.
