PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for records pertaining to the proceedings in S.T.C. No.4363 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tiruchirappalli and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is facing charges under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy. Citing various grounds, he seeks quashment of the above said proceedings.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that pending this process, the respondent has filed a memo before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy, deleting this petitioner from array of accused. In view of the above said submissions, nothing survives for further consideration in this case. 4.However, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that considering the oldness of the matter direction may be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial process and dispose of the same within a stipulated time prescribed by this Court. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy, to expedite the trial process in S.T.C.No.4363 of 2019, pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
