O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.02.2018 on the file of second respondent in current paper No.311/CPG/Madurai. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that though summons had been served to the petitioner, the petitioner did not appear for the enquiry. If the petitioner cooperates for enquiry, the same will be conducted in accordance with law.

3.In reply to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to appear before the respondents for enquiry.

4.In view of the above submission, this Court directs the respondents to serve summons to the petitioner to appear for enquiry. On receipt of the summon, the petitioner is also directed to appear for enquiry and place all the materials before the respondents police. Thereafter, the respondents police shall conduct the enquiry on merits and in accordance with law. If the petitioner does not appeare, the respondents police shall drop further proceedings.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
