ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. Considering the nature of relief can be granted, issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. The petitioner challenges the validity of the decision taken during the impugned Peace Committe Meeting. It is too well settled that the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting is not amenable to legal challenge because it is not having any statutory value or force. No legal consequences can flow therefrom. The statutory authorities cannot enforce the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting.

3. With this observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
