The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that this Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the enquiry is pending in C.No.22/B1-PS/APK/2023. The Petitioner has to appear for enquiry. He would further submit that as per the latest circular of the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 in Rc.No.892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021, the third Respondent undertakes to complete the enquiry. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent Police to complete the enquiry in C.No.22/B1PS/APK/2023 as expeditiously as possible.
