This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 08.03.2018. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Kodaikanal Police Station, Dindigul District, and during enquiry, it came to know that the complaint preferred by the petitioner is a false one and therefore, the said complaint was closed.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, it is open to him to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
