O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the fourth respondent based on the petitioner's complaint alleging wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.

2. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner is not able to explain as to whether the fourth respondent is a public servant to attract the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, except stating that the fourth respondent is an office bearer of the ruling party. Therefore,

we are of the view that this writ petition is misconceived and the same is liable to be dismissed in limine with costs.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed with costs of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) payable by the petitioner to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
