This petition is filed to call for the records relating to the case in S.C.No.44 of 2012 on the file of the District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai and quash the same.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that now, the case is in the trial stage and hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Perusal of the records would show that there are prima facie materials available against the accused. Hence, this court is not inclined to quash the charge sheet in S.C.No.44 of 2012. 5.In view of the above facts, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, to complete the trial in S.C.No.44 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the case, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
