ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 6 and 7, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the eighth respondent and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the ninth respondent. 2.There is a persistent dispute between two groups in Vadakku Nalliampatti Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District as regards conducting of temple festivals. The parties have moved this Court on earlier occasions and consent orders have been passed.
3.Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the ninth respondent submitted that the ninth respondent has no objection for passing a similar order to enable performance of the petition mentioned festival also.
4.Since there is a consensus between the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with the following terms:
a)The group led by the writ petitioner shall celebrate the petition mentioned temple festival from 10.02.2023 to 15.02.2023. 3/6
b)The group led by the ninth respondent herein shall celebrate the petition mentioned temple festival from 20.02.2023 to 25.02.2023. c)The official respondents are directed to extend their cooperation for peaceful conduct of both the events.
There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
