PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner's family on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2015. For Petitioner :

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner's family on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she is a widow; that the respondents 4 & 5 being the 2nd son and daughter in law, filed the case against her husband; that her husband died even before the closure of the case; that she is eking out her livelihood by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pledging the property, which belongs to her and that the respondents 4 & 5 are trying to snatch the property from her by demanding her to execute documents in favour of them; that on refusal, the respondents 4 & 5 are threatening to do away with the life of the petitioner. So alleging, petition has been presented on 31.07.2015 before the police authorities, namely, 1 to 3.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents 1 to 3 will consider the representation dated 31.07.2015 of the petitioner and take appropriate action.

5. Having regard to the limited prayer, notice to R4 and R5 need not be issued. Respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Petition is disposed of.
