ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the investigation in Crime No.28 of 2022 dated 29.08.2022 on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent or any other Investigation Agency within Sivagangai District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has filed the report of the third respondent before this Court and he would submit that they have already filed a report for the addition of the accused 4 and 5, that a special team was formed and that they have already issued summons to the newly added accused 4 and 5 under Section 41(A) Cr.P.C.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the second accused has already been arrested in another case and is in judicial custody.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent would take necessary actions in this regard.

5. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the third respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai is directed to monitor the investigation.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
