ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the first and second respondents to give police protection to the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's daughter has married the fourth respondent and thereafter the petitioner's daughter was missing and hence, the fourth respondent lodged a complaint, before the second respondent and a case has been registered in Crime No.437 of 2015, dated 24.08.2015, under the caption of Women missing. He further submitted that thereafter, the fourth respondent has filed a petition in H.C.P.No.1345 of 2015, before this Court and the same was dismissed as not pressed. He further submitted that the third and fourth respondents are threatening the petitioner, by saying that the petitioner's daughter has taken away 24 sovereigns https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of jewels and the said jewels should be given by the petitioner. He further submitted that since the petitioner is a destitute widow and she is not able to meet the demands of the third and fourth respondents. They are threatening her life and with regard to the said threatening, she gave a complaint on 03.01.2018, before the second respondent, but sofar no action has been taken on the said complaint and hence, she is seeking police protection. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating for enquiry and once she was called upon for enquiry, but she did not appear. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent for enquiry, with regard to her complaint, dated 03.01.2018 and on such appearance, the second respondent has to enquire the matter and if, the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. 5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
