PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of BNSS,2023. PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.943 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.11.2024 for the alleged offence under 420 of IPC, in Crime No.943 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and police report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor on 08.01.2025 and the same is yet to be taken on file. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the petitioner had received huge amount of money from various persons promising to get them job and ultimately, in order to escape from consequence, filed an insolvency petition.

4. The learned counsel for the intervenor also made a similar submission and 2/4

vehemently opposed grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. In the considered view of this Court, considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor is directed to act upon the police report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.943 of 2024 on 08.01.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After the copies are furnished to the petitioner, it is left open to the petitioner to revive his claim for bail.
