ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members on the basis of the representation dated 12.02.2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that some time in 2015, the petitioner had preferred a complaint against her relative over family property dispute and that came to be registered in Crime No.220 of 2015. Be that as it may, Some unknown identifiable persons have entered and held out serious threats to life, limb and liberty of the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that a representation was given to the second respondent police on 12.02.2018.

5. The present petition is filed exactly one year ago and it is not known whether the same degree of threat perception presently continues or not. However, if even now the petitioner is under any real threat to her life, limb and liberty, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation before the second respondent. On receipt of the fresh representation, the second respondent is directed to cause an enquiry on the same and take an appropriate decision as may be necessary to accord police protection to the life, limb and liberty of the petitioner. The said decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation to be given by the petitioner.
