RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time by another two months passed in CMP.(MD).No. 4688/2016 in SA.(MD).No.21/2016 dated 08.06.2016 and thus render justice.
ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.VELMURUGAN, Government Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.R.LAXMAN, Advocate the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petitioner has come forward with this application for extension of time for another two months for complying the order passed by this Court dated 20.01.2016.
2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the petitioner would submit that an appeal against has been filed against the award passed in land acquisition proceedings and this Court while granting an order of interim stay on 20.01.2016 directed the petitioner to deposit 50% of the amount within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. But that order has not been complied with. The petitioner filed a petition in in C.M.P.(MD)No. 4688 of 2016 for extension of time to comply with the order dated 20.01.2016. Accordingly, this Court by order dated 08.06.2016 granted six weeks time. But it was not complied with. Now the petitioner come forward with the present application seeking further extension of time of two months for complying with the order dated 20.01.2016.

there no convincing reason has been made. Hence, this petition is deserved to be dismissed. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 4.Hence, there is no impediment for the Executing Court to proceed further with the E.P. proceedings.
5.Post the main appeal on 07.09.2016.
