This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to forward the petitioner's application dated 30.9.2019 to the 1st respondent for the grant of building approval for the proposed community hall and prayer hall building in RS.No.170/9H1 of Bhoothapandi Village, Azhakammal Kovil St, Bhoothapandi Town Panchayat, Thovalai Tk, Kanyakumari District. 2.The petitioner is stated to be the Head Pastor of Assembly of God Organization, Boothapandi, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. He proposed to construct a community hall and prayer hall in R.S.No.170/9H1 of Bhoothapandi Village, Azhakammal Kovil St, Bhoothapandi Town Panchayat, Thovalai Taluk, Kanyakumari District, for which, he made an application before the second respondent enclosing the relevant particulars on 30.09.2019. As no action is forthcoming till date, the petitioner is before this Court.

W.P(MD)No.1825 of 2020 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits, a direction is given to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
