ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had filed this Writ Petition to direct the Respondents 1 to 3, to take appropriate action on the Petitioner's complaint, dated 04.01.2024, by completing the enquiry.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that she is the Head of 29 women self help groups ( (Small Savings Society), as per the by-laws for each of the 29 groups every member had to contribute Rs.1,000/-, they can also avail loan, for which, they have to pay 2% p.a. interest. After a period of 36 months, the amount will be distributed to the members of the Society and the remaining amount to be shared equally to the members of the Society. Some of the members refused to repay the loan, after 33 months. Therefore, the Petitioner had approached the Respondent Police and filed a complaint, but, the Respondent Police did not take any action. Hence, the Petitioner was forced to file the present Writ Petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, would submit that earlier, the Petitioner preferred a complaint to the first Respondent. Based on the direction of the first Respondent, the third Respondent held an enquiry. In the enquiry, the Respondents 4 and 5 also appeared. At that time, the Petitioner undertook to settle the matter among themselves. Therefore, the enquiry was closed. Subsequently, the second Petition was given on 04.01.2024, now, it is pending with the third Respondent and they will abide by the circular of the Director General of Police / Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 issued in Rc.No. 892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021 and the circular of the Additional Director General of Police, Chennai, issued in C.No.18/ADGP/L & O/Camp/2024 dated 09.01.2024 amp/2024 dated 09.01.2024.
