This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1486 of 2020 registered on the file of Subramaniapuram Police Station, Madurai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1963 of 2021 2.The de-facto complainant Sivakumar as well as the victim Saranya are present in person before this Court. They have been duly identified by Mr.M.Thirisangu, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, attached with Subramaniapuram Police Station, Madurai District. The victim has stated that a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs Only) has already been received by her. The de-facto complainant and the victim do not want to pursue the matter. A joint compromise memo has also been received. In view of the same, the impugned FIR is quashed. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
