This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.04/Mika/SDO-P/2020 dated 11.01.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting State Level flood light Kabadi Tournament to be held on 08.02.2020 at about 4.00 p.m. to 11.00am and 09.02.2020 at about 04.00 p.m to 11.00 am in Santhanamariamman Kovil Ground, Chokkampatti, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2020.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that permission has been granted by the police to conduct Kabadi Tournament and hence, he would seek permission to withdraw the Writ Petition and also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the submission as well as the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
